The program will not start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing. Reinstall the program to fix the issue.

Fixing the Error

Windows update installs the missing api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll file. To fix the problem, get the Update for Universal C Runtime from Microsoft and install it.
