UNIVERSE runs on Microsoft Visual C++, which needs certain files to work properly. These files don’t come pre-installed on your computer. To ensure the software functions as it should, you must install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package.

Fixing the UNIVERSE Startup Error

If you encounter an error while launching UNIVERSE, try these steps to resolve it:

1. Remove “UNIVERSE” through the Control Panel.
2. Install “Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable” by downloading it from this link:

   If your system is not x64, visit Microsoft’s official site for the correct version.
3. Run the downloaded file and complete the installation.
4. Restart your computer.
5. Locate and run “UNIVERSE_Launcher.exe” to reinstall the program.
6. Open the “UNIVERSE.exe” shortcut on your desktop and check if it works.
